DLF GROUP LLC

INDUSTRIAL HUMAN POWERED CARGO CYCLE
FEASIBILITY STUDY AND PILOT PROGRAM

Background- In 2012, DLF Group LLC did a demonstration of a human powered Chevy dump truck and trailer and a human powered F700 dump truck to determine if it was feasible to move 18,000 pounds uphill and for several miles with a single cyclist pedaling. The demos were a success, the video files are linked below.

Purpose- Successful demonstrations resulted in developing heavy duty industrial human powered cargo cycles capable of moving up to 100,000 pounds. For this feasibility study and pilot program, our weight limit will be up to 10,000 pounds using the smallest cycle available. Additional cargo cycle dollies cost about $2,000 dollars each to build and can be ready using a 30-day production schedule.

The Industrial Tractyle is being carried by a U-Haul carrier.

The Cycle Dolly is the smallest human powered cycle able to tow 10,000 pounds or more.

Goals- DLF Group LLC is planning to contact municipal, industrial and commercial operations in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York area looking to reduce their environmental footprint. DLF Group LLC will be looking to put our cycles to work as a proof of concept with a 3 to 6-month pilot proposal showing cost savings, emission reductions and delivery times.

Certifications-

U.S. Dept. of Transportation 2016,
N.Y.C. Dept. of Transportation 2019

Competitive Advantages- DLF Group LLC has the only industrial human powered cargo cycles offering an operating cost of .05 cents per 30 miles while carrying a 10,000-pound load. Our cycles are the most cost-effective vehicles on the road.
